Tariffs and Sanctions Under the Biden Administration
The Biden administration eventually may ease up on Section 232 steel tariffs and quotas, particularly those restricting trade with traditional US partners and allies, but there is little sign of easing when it comes to Section 301 tariffs and their effects on US-China trade. Managing these risks greatly complicates project and breakbulk shipping. Kathy Canaan, global director of trade compliance for Fluor Corp., will discuss the twists and turns of managing tariffs and sanctions in 2021.
