Head of Safety & Compliance at CloudTrucks, has been a leader in trucking tech since 2018. He has also held leadership roles in technology-focused organizations across various industries over the past 17 years.

Prior to CloudTrucks, Damien founded a full-truckload carrier and was part of the leadership team at freight brokerage Convoy. Damien also spent time in the Oil and Gas industry and various multi-sided marketplace platforms.

Damien attended Olympic College where he studied Business Management.

These carriers play a critical role in providing capacity for shippers small and large, most often through third-party brokerages. Post-pandemic, there are more small carriers in the market than ever before. With large carriers focusing more on dedicated, non-transactional accounts, shippers are increasingly reliant on smaller carriers, and they’re changing how they work with them.
