    Inland Academy: Logistics Workforce Development

Everyone who is a supply chain or transportation executive at one point has been an entry-level employee, learning the ropes on about transportation and logistics are all about. We all grow in our career, learning from mentors, gaining experience over time, and molding ourselves to a leader one day. No doubt, the leaders of yesterday took younger employees under their wings to create the leaders of today. The leaders of today are now charged with taking the leaders of tomorrow under their wings to get them prepared. In this session, we will talk with transportation and supply chain leaders about what they’ve learned along the way in their careers, how to recruit and train the leaders of tomorrow, and what skills and lessons are critical to teach the next generation. If you are a leader today, this is an opportunity to bring some of your junior staff to Chicago to learn about what is ahead of them in their career.
