Wrapping up the 2023 Cool Cargoes track, TPM attendees will hear from prominent ocean carriers and other service providers about their view of the market and what’s ahead. How do they see the capacity picture? After two years of just trying to keep up, will carriers take advantage of the relative calm to focus on service improvements? How do they plan to better serve their customers, and what do they expect in return. Are refrigerated shippers meeting their obligations on such things as weekly, monthly, and yearly allocations and, if not, how can they work better with their service providers? Will others follow the lead established by Hapag-Lloyd and Maersk in investing in technology to improve visibility? How does the industrial real estate space look following historic inventories. Finally, after three years of historic disruption, where do we go from here?
