TPM Academy: Technology Applications for the Maritime Supply Chain

Next to supply chain disruptions and volatile ocean freight rates, the biggest headline in international trade is the application of technology to multiple facets of global operations. In addition to cargo tracking capabilities, hot-topic solutions range from predictive/prescriptive analytics and robotic process automation to the deployment of application programming interfaces and automated trade compliance software. Presented by TPM’s resident experts on all thing's technology, this module opens with a review of maritime-centric technology solutions (by category) and quickly transitions into an analysis of how shippers, carriers, forwarders, customs brokers, and drayage providers can deploy technologies that increase productivity, while enhancing overall supply chain performance.
