TPM24 Academy: Complying with US Customs Import Regulations

In a post-COVID era where risk mitigation has taken on a higher priority for corporate supply chains, minimizing delays and extra costs due to Customs issues is only growing in importance. Shippers not only need to ensure they comply with multiple import laws, but they also need to build and maintain a reputation with Customs for taking compliance seriously. Failure to do so will result in delayed goods, higher detention and demurrage costs, and possibly fines. This TPM Academy module will offer a high-level overview of the key elements needed to minimize risk from Customs enforcement, including product classification and valuation, country of origin, forced labor, ADD/CVD, and C-TPAT.
