Chris Swartz is the Vice President-Transportation and Logistics, AJC Group, and is managing director of its logistics subsidiary, AJC Logistics. He has been working in the ocean, rail, trucking, and logistics industry with an emphasis on international markets since 1990 and has been with the AJC Group since 2005. Previously, he spent four years with CSX Railroad serving as vice president of sales and marketing for its logistics subsidiary TRANSFLO and director of chemicals marketing for CSX Transportation. Swartz started his career with Sea-Land Services and spent 12 years working in the Atlantic division, Pacific divisions, Buyers & Shippers, and finally Sea-Land’s domestic services as GM of Sales for the US East Coast. He currently serves on the board of Polivka International. Swartz attended Florida State University, where he earned a B.Sc. in economics.
