Hailing from Denmark, Jens. H Lund was promoted to CEO of DSV Group in February 2024. His journey with DSV began in 2002 when he was appointed Group CFO and member of the Executive Board due to his integral experience with financial consulting in acquisitions, sales and financing of companies. From there, he was appointed Group COO and Vice CEO of DSV Air and Sea in 2021 where he assumed responsibility for development and optimization of the business, digital strategy, IT operations and the continued strengthening of the Group’s infrastructure and global network. Three years later, he was appointed Group CEO of DSV and has just closed on another historic year for DSV Global Transport and Logistics.

    TPM25 CEO Series: A Conversation With DSV's Jens Lund
    Last September, Danish freight forwarder DSV prevailed in a competitive bid to acquire German freight forwarder DB Schenker. In the process, it turned a lengthy pursuit of one of the world’s largest logistics companies into the creation of the largest transportation and logistics player with an annual revenue of some $40 billion. The DSV path to the top has been a decade in the making, driven by financial discipline alongside three major acquisitions: UTi in 2016, Panalpina in 2019, and Agility’s Global Integrated Logistics in 2021. Now, with the DB Schenker deal expected to close in the second quarter of 2025, we are delighted to announce the appearance of Jens Lund, DSV’s Group CEO, as part of the TPM25 CEO Series Jens was appointed Group CEO in February 2024 after 22 years in increasingly senior executive roles, including group COO, vice CEO of DSV A/S, and group CFO. In this 45-minute roundtable discussion, he will address many of the pressing issues shippers face today, and offer DSV’s perspective on trade, geopolitics, supply chains and logistics.
