Manager and Global Lead, Quantum Applications

Dr. Jeannette M. Garcia is a Manager and the Global Lead for Quantum Applications in Quantum Chemistry and Science at IBM Research. Her team's research focuses on computational science applications for quantum computing. Garcia received her PhD in Chemistry at Boston College. She joined IBM Research in 2012 as a postdoctoral researcher, became a Research Staff Member in 2013 and from 2017-2018, and prior to her current role was the Technical Advisor to Dr. Sophie Vandebroek, COO of IBM Research.
