Samantha is the Director of Logistics and Trade Compliance at Haverty Furniture Companies, Inc. (Havertys), an Atlanta-based retail furniture company established in 1885. As one of the nation's oldest major retailers, Havertys continually offers high quality furniture along with honest and personalized service. In her 8 years at the company, Samantha has reshaped Havertys' approach to logistics visibility and analytics and enhanced freight negotiations, while ensuring full compliance with US and international trade regulations. Prior to her time with Havertys, she spent 9 years with one of the largest industrial distributors in North American leading its International Logistics and Customs Compliance, as well as acquiring extensive industry experience with an ocean carrier and NVOCC. Samantha holds a BBA from the University of Georgia and an MBA from the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University. In her leisure time she is an avid college football fan and enjoys traveling.
