Sylena Urbanoski



Sylena Urbanoski is the Co-Founder of xGlobl, a new Customs Brokerage launching in Canada and the US in 2023. Sylena has been a founder and change maker in the startup world for the past 8 years, and most notably sold her last business, Community Customs Brokers, to Flexport in 2019. Sylena is driven by improving the way we build business for scalability and profit while maintaining a key focus on people, culture and innovation. Sylena is a military veteran, and a proud member of the LGBT2QIA+ community and is passionate about removing barriers and creating space for diversity in tech, leadership and the future workplace.

Sylena resides in Canada but spends a great deal of time travelling and growing her network across the US and global markets.

This round table discussion featuring a transportation/logistics industry recruiter, a key industry employer, a sector educator, and a newer employee, will explore successful approaches to and strategies for addressing the challenges involved in talent acquisition and retention.
