Thorsten Meincke is Member of the Management Board for Global Air and Ocean Freight at Schenker AG, headquartered in Essen, since June 1, 2019.

He previously served as the Head of Global Ocean Freight at Kuehne + Nagel and worked in other positions at Kuehne + Nagel, as well as M&M Militzer & Muench, a Swiss-based logistics company, and Arthur Andersen, a US-based consulting company.

Thorsten, who was born and raised in Hamburg, holds a master's degree in Macroeconomics from the University of his hometown.

    • How will technology and improved supply chain capabilities enable BCOs to receive better service from carriers, for example by improving demand sensing to provide more accurate forecasts to carriers and improve contract compliance?
