Matthew Kane

Riteload

Founder and CEO

Mr. Kane comes from very diverse entrepreneurial background that has allowed him to see business operations from a full 360-degree view. Recognizing the problems that need to be corrected in an industry and setting out to make that happen is where he finds the most comfort.

Riteload is not the first company Mr. Kane has created from the ground up. A notable design/build construction company still in operation for nearly four decades, a first of its kind multi state publishing company with a circulation of over 13.7 Million exited in 2006, a cable TV telecommunications marketing company reaching over 1.1 million homes every day exited in 1994 and now Riteload in the transportation industry for the last 11 years.

Kane brings a meat and potato approach to his business model. If you ask his honest opinion, buckle up because he'll offer it to you. Nothing held back.

InlandTech I: What Tech Matters (And Doesn't) to Shippers

When it comes to freight, the buck starts and stops with shippers. They are the end customer and, right or wrong, their decisions impact the service providers and software vendors that cater to them. Which makes it all the more important for companies providing technology to shippers to understand what shippers actually want. Many vendors tend to think of their companies as developing products that will help shippers, directly or indirectly. But shippers tend to think of needs or pain points that need to be addressed, whether it be a process, a piece of data, or a broader function. This session will discuss the technology needs of shippers from the point of view of how shippers view technology.
