As a global supply chain leader, Dan has more than 20 years of international transportation and logistics experience.

Dan has led global transportation and logistics programs for companies such as Horizon Hobby, Tate & Lyle, Archer Daniels Midland Co. and Cargill Inc. He us currently the Senior Director of Logistics for Onto Innovation. In this role he leads all import and export activities related to the transport and storage of semiconductor equipment.

Dan is a graduate of Southern Illinois, and has Master’s Certificate in Global Supply Chain Leadership from Michigan State and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. He has also served on multiple committees from the National Shipper Advisory Committee to the NITL Ocean Transportation Committee.

    TPM Academy: Strategies & Tactics for Managing Ocean Export Programs
    Anyone involved in exporting goods from the US via ocean container freight knows that things were difficult long before the COVID-19 outbreak. Especially true for exporters in the central US, the ability to procure containers and chassis has always been a challenge, and the situation has only gotten worse over the last few years. In a module that is 100 percent dedicated to ocean exports, attendees will learn ways to maximize the probability of gaining access to equipment, as well as how to enhance their operations through coordination with drayage providers, forwarders, ocean carriers. and rail ramps. Integral to this presentation is a bonus section on how shippers can take advantage of the export-centric provisions of OSRA 2022 to ensure access to equipment and vessel capacity.
