Erin’s 30-year career has focused on U.S. international inland transportation as an Ocean Intermediary, Beneficial Cargo Owner, IAC, US Property Broker, and Motor Carrier. She spent a great deal of her career at the corporate offices of 3PL Eagle Global Logistics in several positions, many being first time/start-up initiatives for the company, including International Airfreight, Property Brokerage, Ocean Intermediary Licensing-Staffing-Training-Tariff Development, Global Account Operations, Customed Distribution, Cargo Security and Risk Management, National Purchasing, IT Development as a “Super User,” International Contra Settlements, Collections and Subject Matter Expert in Marketing. In 2007 Erin and her husband David purchased motor carrier Wallport Transit Xpress (WTX), Inc. consisting of one in-house client and six owner-operators. In early 2008 they hired David’s nephew Nate Graglia to drive sales and growth. Over the first ten years, David maintained his executive position in CBP Bonded Warehousing until his recent retirement, and Erin and Nate ran and continue to run Wallport. Today, The Wallport Companies serve the entire upper 48 with Property Brokerage solutions and the Houston and Dallas-Ft. Worth markets with best-in-class Drayage, FTL, OOG, and Transload-Distribution services. Wallport is an active member of IANA, TXTA and ATA focusing on issues of opportunity and threat to the motor carriage industry.
Erin has a BBA from Millsaps College with studies at the London School of Economics and a MIM from The American Graduate School of International Management, Thunderbird.
