Adapting To New Ocean Shipping Dynamics

    The Route to Zero-Emission Shipping

Increasingly stringent mandates to cut greenhouse gas emissions has further turned up the heat on the at-times fraught relationship between shippers and carriers. This session will feature a discussion with carriers and those working with shippers on decarbonization to illuminate how both sides are attempting to work together to achieve incremental environmental victories on Scope 3 emissions in the short and medium-term, bringing them closer to what will ultimately be a fossil fuel-free future while walking a fine line on cost sensitivity.
