Event Terms and Conditions

TERMS OF REGISTRATION

By registering for the S&P Global Market Intelligence ("SPGMI", "our", or “S&P Global”) program (“Program”), you agree to the following Terms of Registration. 

SPGMI, its affiliates, and third-party providers offer the Program with the understanding that SPGMI is not providing any professional advice and assumes no liability in connection with the use of its materials. SPGMI reserves the right to cancel or change programs, content, speakers, or venues at any time. Full payment must be received by SPGMI prior to the start of the program. Attendee substitutions from the same company may be made at any time; however, SPGMI reserves the right to decline registrants at any time for any reason.

By registering for the Program, you acknowledge that SPGMI owns all Program Content, Materials, and Recordings. Where permitted by applicable law, you grant to SPGMI the non-exclusive, fully paid, royalty-free, irrevocable, and worldwide license and right to reproduce, perform, display, distribute, adapt, modify, re-format, create derivative works of and otherwise commercially or non-commercially exploit in any manner all program content, materials, recordings, and user content in any and all media worldwide. You will not receive any compensation from SPGMI or otherwise connection with your Image and our use of program content, materials, and recordings, and/or user content, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Depending on which laws apply to your personal information, you may have the right to withdraw this authorization, obtain information about how your Image is being used, and/or make other requests regarding your personal information. You may use SPGMI’s Personal Information Request Form or call us on 1-855-529-1761 to exercise any of your rights.

You agree that you will not: (i) post or transmit any user content that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, libelous, defamatory, tortious, obscene, vulgar, pornographic, harassing, profane, invasive of another’s privacy, indecent, bigoted, hateful, or racially, ethnically, sexually or otherwise offensive; (ii) impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your professional or other affiliation with any person or entity; or any other form of solicitation; or (iii) use the Program to violate or attempt to violate, or assist any other person or entity in violating or attempting to violate, any contractual obligations you have with SPGMI, including, without limitation, any confidentiality, non-solicitation or non-competition agreements.

LIABILITY

In consideration of your registration for and participation in the Program, you agree and represent that you are the age of majority or older and freely waive, release from liability, assume all risks, and covenant not to sue SPGMI and their respective owners, officers, employees, successors and assigns for any expense, loss, damage, personal injury that you may hereafter suffer or sustain before, during, or after the Program, unless the expense, loss, damage or personal injury is directly caused by the sole, gross negligence of SPGMI. The foregoing waiver and release is specifically binding upon your heirs and assigns. The views expressed by any Program attendee, speaker, exhibitor, or sponsor are their personal views and are not those of SPGMI. All attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and sponsors are solely responsible for the content of all of its individual or corporation presentations, marketing collateral, and/or advertising.

PRIVACY AT S&P GLOBAL

SPGMI processes your personal information for the purpose of managing and administrating the Program. By registering for the Program, you understand the SPGMI may transfer your personal information outside of your jurisdiction and to third parties and/or affiliates and that the processing of your personal information by SPGMI is governed by our Corporate Privacy Policy.

SPGMI may contact you with details of programs and services that may be of interest, subject to your consent where required by applicable law. SPGMI may use your personal information to provide you with access to the Program App, which delivers important conference information, such as your schedule, the conference agenda, and speaker information.

If you have opted-in through the Program registration form, your personal information may be included in an attendee list and/or may be shared with Program sponsors and partners, who may contact you with details of programs or Programs occurring during the Program. Depending on which laws apply to your personal information, you may have the right to withdraw this authorization in whole or in part, obtain information about how your personal information is being used, and/or make other requests regarding your personal information. You may use S&P Global’s Personal Information Request Form or call us on 1-855-529-1761 to exercise any of your rights.

COMPLIANCE; NO UNAUTHORIZED PROGRAMS

You agree to comply with all applicable conventions, laws, rules, and regulations incident to any or all the activities contemplated by this Agreement, including without limitation anti-corruption, anti-bribery, anti-boycott, antitrust, and export control laws and regulations. You further agree to comply with and be bound by all rules and regulations applicable to the Program and the premises on which the Program is held. You agree not to distribute or display any marketing materials or logos, or host any unsanctioned hospitality suites, receptions, or similar private Programs without the prior written consent of SPGMI. SPGMI reserves the right to cancel the participation of any Client or Delegate that does not comply with this section.

REFUND TERMS

SPGMI offers a cancellation plan. These Refund Terms set forth the conditions for when you may be eligible to receive a refund, which is the full program fee. SPGMI will not be held liable for any costs incurred by registrant due to individual registration cancellation.

Refunds will not be provided to anyone registered who does not attend the event for any reason, invoices are issued as client registers and are due even if client doesn't attend. With approval, seats may be transferred up to 48 hours or 2 days before the event with notice in writing to Events Help.

*Please note that S&P Global has the right to refuse or cancel a registration. Refunds will be given for S&P Global cancelled registrations.*

Important Information

  • Refund requests will be honored if received in writing by January 1, 2024.
  • All refunds will be subject to a $100 processing fee.
  • Cancellations received after January 1, 2024 and 'no shows' will be subject to the full conference rate. 
  • Substitutions may be made by contacting Events Help
  • You must provide the name, title, and contact information for the person you are substituting. 
  • For credit card payments, we can only accept American Express, Visa or Mastercard. Please contact our Events Help for more information.
