Manager-Supply Chain Transformation

My name is Lusine, and I am the Supply Chain Process Transformation Manager at Mary Kay’s Global Distribution Center ASRS. As the world evolves, so does Mary Kay, and my team and I strive to keep our global distribution operations agile, transparent, flexible, data-driven, and industry-standard.

I hold an MS in Supply Chain from Moscow State University of Railway Transportation.

Before starting my career as a team lead of Warehouse Operations at Mary Kay, I worked for leading European freight forwarders in Moscow, Russia. I have experience in operations, account management, and business development of industrial and luxury brand projects for companies like Daher, Norbert Dentressangle, and FM Logistic.

Coming to Mary Kay four years ago was quite a change and the best one that one could wish for! The company is breathing and living its mission of Enriching Women’s Lives. The best thing about my job is being a part of one of the best teams in Mary Kay!

Outside of work, I am a wife of an engineer, and a proud mother of two beautiful teenage daughters and one very spoiled Yorkie.

TPM Cold Chain: Shipper Perspectives — A Roundtable Discussion

Following the unmitigated supply chain disaster and out-of-control pricing from 2020 to early 2022, refrigerated shippers wrung a lot of costs out of their supply chains in 2023. While that has certainly improved balance sheets and profitability, there are still plenty of problems on shippers’ plates, from cloudy supply chain visibility and service issues to changing consumer tastes and geopolitical strife. And that doesn’t even account for the unpredictable economic environment. This is a time for shippers to take stock and plan for what could be a stronger economy sometime in 2024. This session, featuring four logistics executives at shippers with very different product types, will explore where refrigerated BCOs go from here.
